Chimney

This place would be the dirtiest and filthiest place of every household. But despite of that, this place should also maintain cleanliness and sanitation for it regularly filters the exhaust of your smoulder waste – yes, I am talking about your home chimneys.

Traditional Chimney

A chimney is an incombustible perpendicular hollow structure, typically made of brick or steel designed to filter fume wastes from kitchens. A chimney contains one or more tubes to provide draft for fire places and serve as a passageway of gaseous products of fire to the air outside. These fume wastes usually come from fire places, broilers and furnaces.

Due to this unclean process that the chimney functions every day, it is just imperative to sustain its sanitation as to prevent the hollow structure of the chimney from being clogged and stopped up with too much fume waste. A frequent brushing of the chimney flues will help maintain the cleanliness of the chimney. Using a handy vacuum cleaner is also advisable in removing cold ashes and creosote that are usually stuck in flues of the chimney. These simple steps in cleaning the chimney are indeed doable to every household keeper.
