Drain, Waste and Vent
The plumbing scheme of the house is also a part of home improvement. Installing the plumbing line requires a whole lot of rigorous experience. A plumber or a plumbing expert should professionally assist your plumbing problems. DWV stands for drain, waste and vent. It is a system that involves large pipes that are responsible of water and waste transmission to the septic tank. Drain lines are for collecting water from sinks, showers, and tubs. Waste lines are for water carriage coming from toilets. Vent lines are for sewer gasses exhaustion, providing necessary air pressure, allowing free flowing of wastes. Drain and waste lines slope slightly downward from the fixture toward the sewer or septic system.
