Planning Plumbing

It is terribly important that a new home’s plumbing systems are planned well right from the start. A well-planned plumbing saves expenses and also avoids costly repairs and future renovations. Generally speaking, there are two main types of plumbing system. The first is “series plumbing” where water lines from one water fixture such as the kitchen sink goes to the next fixture such as the faucet in the bathroom. Although cheaper, this system has its drawbacks since a condition of low-water pressure in the piping will mean the water will not reach the other water fixtures anymore if there is simultaneous usage. The other type of plumbing system is the “branched or looped plumbing” where water is sourced directly by each water fixture from the main source. This is the more common plan in house plumbing. It is best to let the professional plumber decide the best way to do it but you still need to do a bit of supervision when it is being done.
