Home theatre or home cinema is a home entertainment system designed to create quality cinema experience in a private home. Prior to the introduction of home theatre in the mid of the 20th century, television is the main source of entertainment in many of the world’s households. But thanks to the creation of advanced video and audio technology, home entertainment has never been fun. Home theatre systems are usually set-up in a room dedicated for the sole purpose of viewing and listening to music. The appliances essential in its set-up include a television (or projector and projector screen), a DVD player, and a surround sound system.
